In "The Nyanja!", players take on the roles of two adorable ninja cats, Nyanmaru and Nekomi, tasked by the emperor of Edo-Kyo to retrieve the stolen Jade Paw idol from the sinister Dark Kitsune Clan. The Jade Paw has mysterious powers that can grant great power but in the wrong hands, it can create chaos and destruction! Set in Jipang, this 16-bit adventure follows the dynamic feline duo as they navigate dangerous landscapes, battle mysterious foes, and employ their ninja skills to save their homeland from darkness. With teamwork, agility, and wit, Nyanmaru and Nekomi must thwart the plans of the nefarious Dark Kitsune Clan. Will they restore peace to Edo-Kyo before it's too late?! This latest demo adds many new features such as combos for more points. A second game world AND 2-player simultaneous play! Some bugs have been addressed in this latest demo.
This demo is made for the PC Engine Super CD-ROM² and can be played on real hardware, compatible clone devices, emulators and compatible FPGA devices.

I'm getting an "invalid cue sheet format" error in OpenEmu
I've tried the demo with the emulator and the game is great!
Unfortunately it doesn't work on the Analogue DUO.
I love cats. In my opinion this could be better. Suggestions:
1) there should be an H after the 1st A.
2) the characters are fine but a bit childish. How about female and male nekos in their teens instead? But don't make them porny because it won't be a friendly family game.
3) I hope you have mice, dogs, birds, squirrels, cockroaches related enemies and bosses since cats are attracted to those things.
4) Insert a litter box in the game doing something, just saying.
4) Just a thought for the plot: one day you're stretching like a cat and the enemy interrupts you and all hell breaks out. You're upset.
5) Have cat toys in the game doing something.
6) Make the characters hate water.
